Naomi's 3rd birthday!

We had a birthday tea party for Naomi's THIRD birthday today!

Mommy and Naomi baked the cupcakes yesterday!

We brought Naomi's tree down from her room and she was FINALLY able to wear her cupcake shirt and tea party skirt that we bought two weeks ago!
Naomi even blew out all three of her candles by herself this year!

It worked when she got a little closer to the cupcakes!

Seems just yesterday we were listening to Christmas carols in the delivery room!

Christmas cookies with Mommy

Naomi and Mommy spent the majority of yesterday baking Christmas cookies!

Naomi was such a big help! She knew exactly what speed to turn the mixer to almost every time!

Naomi is such a big help in the kitchen! She helped make all the cookies and goodies for her birthday tea!

This girl knows her way around a kitchen! She's sure to be a great cook one day! Hopefully sooner rather than later! That way mom can retire her position of head chef of this household!

We found our Christmas tree pretty quickly this year-it was COLD!!!

Tate wanted to pick this one. We told him we had a hunch that it might not fit with our 9 ft ceilings.
Naomi decided she wasn't as cold sitting on Daddy's shoulders.

Halloween Party 08

Mom and her friend organized our neighborhood Halloween Party this year! It was a big hit because Mr. Mike owns a moonbounce company! We had FOUR moonbounces there! Everyone who was anyone was at our Halloween party, and child and adult alike had a GREAT time!

Air Show!

We met Gramps, Grammy and Abby (Uncle Josh's girlfriend) at an airshow in West Virginia! We all dressed in red, white, and blue, and took a big family picture to send to Uncle Josh for his birthday. He's deployed right now, so we thought this would be extra special!

After Gramps' old fighter, the F-16, did its demonstration, we watched the traditional "Heritage Flight." How amazing to see the P-51, an old fighter from WWII, fly alongside the fighter we use in the War on Terror today. It was nostalgic and humbling to see these two great planes fly in formation together.
We love our country, thank our military, and pray for our troops!
